Palestine Public Library offers many
services. Below is a list of these services and the
costs associated with them:
- Book (including large
print), Video, Audio and Magazine Checkout
- Public Access Computers
-- The
library has six public access computers.
There is a one-time (lifetime) charge of $3 (for maintenance)
to use the computers. For
non-residents the charge will be $5 lifetime or $1 each user time. All
computers are equipped with Office 2000, Encarta Africana, Encarta
Encyclopedia, Encarta Dictionary, Encarta World Atlas, Microsoft
Streets and Trips, and many games.
All computers are Internet accessible.
Printing costs are $.50/page for color, $.20/page for
grayscale and $.10/page for laser.
There is no charge for printing information from the
Internet or software when the project is for school research.
