June, 2010:
Mary Heath
Foundation Grant was awarded in the amount of $10,000 to furnish and
equip the new library.
USDA Grant was
awarded in the amount of $50,000 to furnish and equip the new library.
This is a matching grant.
Mary Heath
Foundation Grant was awarded to Susie Wesley Library in the amount
of $4,305 to fund Madcap Productions Puppet Theatre for summer reading
programs in all of the libraries in Crawford, Lawrence and Jasper
counties.
March, 2011:
Illinois State
Library Per Capita Grant was awarded in the amount of $2,503.07.
The funds will go toward books and supplies for the library.
June, 2011:
Mary Heath
Foundation Grant was awarded in the amount of $11,851. The
funds are going toward archiving old Palestine Register newspapers,
Heritage Quest, brochures, and framing old pictures.
October 2011:
Leo Herning Grant
was awarded in the amount of $4,271 to host computer workshops,
purchase a laptop and software for the workshops.
Claypool Grant
was awarded in the amount of $245 to host a summer reading program,
2012.
